Terms of Service

The rules for using Relay to publish and share HTML pages.

These Terms govern your access to and use of Relay, including viarelay.app and related services. By using Relay, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Relay lets users publish HTML content to live URLs, manage page access settings, make lightweight edits, and collect page comments. Relay is designed for AI-generated and user-created HTML content.

2. Accounts and Security

You need a Google account to use Relay. You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping your account access and API keys secure. Notify us if you believe your account or API key has been compromised.

3. Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you publish with Relay. You give Relay permission to host, store, display, reproduce, and serve that content only as needed to operate the service.

You are responsible for your content and for making sure you have the rights needed to publish it. Relay may remove content that violates these Terms or creates legal, security, or operational risk.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use Relay to publish, store, or distribute:

  • Illegal, harmful, or deceptive content
  • Malware, phishing pages, or attempts to steal credentials
  • Spam, scams, or unsolicited communications
  • Content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Content that harasses, threatens, or abuses others
  • Material that interferes with or disrupts Relay or its providers
  • Use of Relay's API or MCP integration to publish content in bulk, scrape data, or engage in any pattern of automated usage that places disproportionate load on our infrastructure beyond what would be expected of an individual user

You may not attempt to bypass plan limits, security controls, or access restrictions. We reserve the right to rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts engaged in abusive usage patterns without prior notice.

5. Plans, Payments, and Refunds

Relay offers a free plan and paid Pro access. Plan limits and features are described on the pricing page and may change over time.

Paid purchases are processed by Stripe. Relay Pro is currently sold as a one-time Lifetime Deal, not a subscription.

The term "Lifetime" in Lifetime Deal refers to the lifetime of the Relay service, not the lifetime of the purchaser. Relay makes no guarantee of perpetual operation. In the event the Service is discontinued, Relay will provide at least 30 days' prior written notice to active Pro plan holders.

The Pro Lifetime Deal grants access to the features included in the Pro tier at the time of purchase, plus any features Relay adds to the Pro tier at its sole discretion. It does not entitle the holder to features, products, or tiers introduced under a separate pricing structure in the future.

Pro plan access is granted to a single named individual and is non-transferable. You may not share, resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer your account, API key, or Pro plan benefits to any third party. Accounts found to be shared or resold will be terminated without refund.

Refund policy: You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase through Relay Support. Refunds after 7 days are not guaranteed.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for a purchase that does not qualify for a refund under these Terms constitutes a material breach of these Terms. To the extent permitted by law, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your account and to pursue recovery of any amounts reversed through a dispute process.

6. Third-Party Services

Relay depends on third-party providers including Google, Stripe, Supabase, and Vercel. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies.

7. Service Changes and Availability

Relay is provided as an evolving service. We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that published pages will always be error-free.

8. Termination

You may stop using Relay at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for Relay or others, or use the service in a way that may cause legal or security problems.

9. Disclaimers

Relay is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Relay will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.

Relay's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to Relay in the 12 months before the claim, or $49, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold Relay harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your content, your use of Relay, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
